Enable telnet and ssh connections:

transport input telnet ssh

Enable only ssh connections:

transport input ssh

Switch1#line vty 0 4
Switch1(config-line)# transport input ssh
Switch1(config-line)# login local
Switch1(config-line)# password 7
Switch1(config-line)# exit

transport input ssh
