A search engine is a web-based tool that enables users to locate information on the World Wide Web. Popular examples of search engines are Google, Yahoo!, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yandex, etc.
Netcraft
Netcraft is an Internet monitoring company that monitors uptimes and provides server operating system detection as well as a number of other services. Netcraft has an online search tool that allows users to query its databases for host information.
Google Hacking
The Google Hacking Database (GHDB) is a compendium of Google hacking search terms that have been found to reveal sensitive data exposed by vulnerable servers and web applications. The GHDB was launched in 2000 by Johnny Long to serve penetration testers
