virsh domrename since release 1.2.19: Sep 02 2015
Rename a domain. This command changes current domain name to the new name specified in the second argument. Note: Domain must be inactive and without snapshots or checkpoints. Disk are not renamed.
virsh domrename ORIGINAL_NAME NEW_NAME Domain successfully renamed
virsh domrename ORIGINAL_NAME NEW_NAME error: Requested operation is not valid: cannot rename active domain
