wikipedia:Mercedes-AMG G 55 (2005-)
- Engine: 5.5 V8 Supercharged M113/M113K
- Sports side exhaust pipes
- 2012 Designo
- 2010 G55 AMG is differentiated by larger 19-inch AMG five-spoke wheels
From the 2005 model year onward, the G55 was given a supercharged version of the M113 E55 that is commonly referred to as the M113K (K for Kompressor), and only offered in long wheelbase versions.
The AMG-built 5.5-liter V8 features a belt-driven supercharger, plus a water-cooled intake-air intercooler for 0-60 mph acceleration in just 5.4 seconds. To balance the increased performance, vented and slotted 13.8-inch front brakes provide increased stopping power for the G55 AMG.
