aws sts get-caller-identity

aws sts get-caller-identity command outputs three pieces of information including the ARN.

Commands

  • aws sts get-caller-identity
  • aws sts get-caller-identity --profile XXXXX
  • aws sts get-caller-identity --output text --query 'Account'
  • ACCOUNT_ID=$(aws sts get-caller-identity --output text --query 'Account')
