Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)

Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) is an x86 virtualization product produced by Red Hat, based on the KVM hypervisor that enables management of unlimited guest machines.

Components:

• Red Hat Virtualization Manager (RHV-M): yum install rhvm-appliance
• Red Hat Virtualization Hypervisors: Red Hat Enterprise Linux or RHV Host (RHV-H)

• RHV support scheduling policies that defines the logic by which virtual machines are distributed amongst hosts.

• Dashboard
• Storage Quality of Service
• Host High Availability
• SSO using a Kerberos server

• yum install ovirt-hosted-engine-setup && hosted-engine --deploy (i will install yum install rhvm-appliance) which has to be available.

Sanlock

Vdsm manages and monitors the host’s storage, memory and networks as well as virtual machine creation, other host administration tasks, statistics gathering, and log collection.
