Using snap:

• snap install kubectl --classic

Installing from k8s.io:

• curl -LO "https://dl.k8s.io/release/$(curl -L -s https://dl.k8s.io/release/stable.txt)/bin/linux/amd64/kubectl"
• chmod +x kubectl; mv kubectl /bin/
