To skip backup:

• sudo touch /etc/gitlab/skip-auto-backup

Check GitLab version:

• gitlab-rake gitlab:env:info | grep -w ^Version
• dpkg -s gitlab-ee | grep Version

Check status:

• gitlab-ctl status

Upgrade:

• sudo apt update && sudo apt install gitlab-ee

Check new version:

• gitlab-rake gitlab:env:info | grep -w ^Version
• dpkg -s gitlab-ee | grep Version
