git commit --all / git commit -a
git status

Changes not staged for commit:
  (use "git add <file>..." to update what will be committed)
  (use "git restore <file>..." to discard changes in working directory)
        modified:   MyModifiedFile.txt
        modified:   MyOtherModifiedFile.txt

no changes added to commit (use "git add" and/or "git commit -a")


git commit -a, --allTell the command to automatically stage files that have been modified and deleted, but new files you have not told Git about are not affected. Ref: git commit --help
