Veritas NetBackup (1987) is an enterprise-level heterogeneous backup and recovery suite. It provides backup functionality to a large variety of OS including Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.

- LAN-free and server-free backups in SAN fabric environments
- Encrypted backups
