Generate OpenSSH private and public key

• ssh-keygen

Generate public key based on private key in OpenSSH format

• ssh-keygen -y -f ~/.ssh/id_rsa > ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub

Change the passphrase of a private key

• ssh-keygen -p

Convert or import key:

• ssh-keygen -i

Connnect with specific private key:

• ssh -i
